Ladies, before you pack your bags and leave office for a week to celebrate the 100th week of when you and your man watched Notting Hill together (some people will never make sense to me – seriously!) , be sure to set an auto responder for your emails. You obviously don’t need to set one up for your personal email account … your friends/family will usually know you are away on vacation. But for your professional account it’s extremely important you have a little note informing clients or potential clients that you are away and will be back by xyz day. If you are lucky enough to have an assistant, you can add her contact details in case it’s an urgent matter.
